"Happiness is the ability to go into discomfort and being there long enough to go into discomfort and being there long enough to enjoy the benifits of growth."
- This definition I heard from Mr Ranjan De Silva while in his show on a show named NLP training organized by my previous company. Yes, it is true and very much deeply rooted in my mind.
Happiness is not the destination, it is the way towards destination. One can feel happiness comforting on a royal couch but this is the happiness, you can say it merely a feeling like one feel the first time being father. So to be happy we have to accept the process of being happy, the struggle very much required to culture in one's habbit which will pave the way towards happiness, the destination. Here are THREE points to poinder in order to become happy-
- First try to culture a good habbit of rising early which will enable a person to get more time to get prepared for a work. It is not impossible, I believe that if one practice to cultivate a good habbit and do it everyday for 21 days it will be in one's habbit automatically.
- 2nd foocus on the process and the outcome will take care of itself. This is another aspect of becoming happy. Instead of thinking about what will happen if we can complete the job or how others will treat for the failure, just concentrate on the your doing and focas on that. You hit a six and the audience gave a big a clap, if you focus on that and hit the next ball as well for a six, you might be caught, so instead you concentrate on the merit of the ball and play accordingly to get the maximum output.
- 3rd aspect of being happy is that you have to accept the pain, there is NO shortcut. You have to know how what is required to attain a success or to become expert on a particular thing, you must ready to do that and that perseverence will help you to accomplish that and gain success.
Just above simple three steps if you can follow and do it again and again I am sure nothing will be barrier in your way to become happy.
