ইমেজ অপ্টিমাইজ করা (OPTIMIZING IMAGES):

 

        ওয়েবসাইটে বিভিন্ন ধরনের ছবি ব্যবহার করা হয় যেমন png, jpeg, svg ইত্যাদি। এগুলোর সাইজ(পিক্সেল) বিভিন্ন রকমের হয়ে থাকে। ওয়েবসাইটের লোডিং   টাইম কমানোর জন্য খেয়াল রাখা উচিত যাতে ছোট সাইজের ছবি ব্যবহার করা হয়। যেমন একটি ছবি ব্যবহার করা হল হয়ত যেটার দৈর্ঘ্য এবং প্রস্থ 2000 X 2200pixel আকারের। যদিও CSS দিয়ে আমরা ছবির সাইজ কন্ট্রোল করতে পারি তবু ও অনেক বড় সাইজের ছবি ডাউনলোড হতে অনেক সময় নিবে এবং ইউজারের অনেক এমবি নষ্ট হবে। আমরা বিভিন্ন এপ্লিকেশন ব্যবহার করে ছবি রিসাইজ করতে পারি। যেমন Photopea ব্যবহার করে jpeg ছবির সাইজ ছোট করতে পারি। আার tiny.png ব্যবহার করে png ফরম্যাটের ছবি রিসাইজ করতে পারি। এছাড়া আরেকটি পদ্ধতি হল ‍svg viewer নামের একটি এক্সটেনশন ফাইল ব্যবহার করে। ভিএস কোড প্রোগ্রামে এই এক্সটেনশন টি ইনস্টল করে ছবির সাইজ, কালার ইত্যাদি প্রোপার্টি সহজেই পরিবর্তন করে HTML এ ব্যবহার করা যায় যাতে ওয়েবসাইটের ফাইলের সাইজ এবং লোডিং টাইম খুবই কম রাখা যায় যেটা একজন প্রফেশনাল ওয়েব ডেভলাপার অবশ্যই খেয়াল রাখবেন।
